WELCOME

Hello everyone, and welcome to the Grey Wolf Band site! We are a new group from Mobile Alabama and we look forward to playing some good music for you in the gulf coast region. I would like to thank my son for getting this page up and running, and he will be helping us with this as we go along.

Band Members:

Dave Reynolds: Dave is our Lead Guitar player and will also be performing on vocals. He is a native of Los Angeles, California. While serving in the Navy he spent 7 years in Alaska and was in the Pacific Northwest during the Grunge era. Dave lived in New Mexico for the past 12 years until relocating with his wife to Coden, Alabama recently. He is a live sound engineer and backline technician and worked at the WOW hall in Eugene, Oregon and with many other sound companies. Dave is currently working on an FX pedal and tube amp company he calls "Coyote Moon Sound". The amp line will be called "Road Kill". He has been in numerous bands (Surrender Dorothy, Elizabeth Taylors, Crossroads, Tone Dogs, and Telefunken to name a few) that performed original and cover music. Grey Wolf is his first experience playing in a band with guys in his own age bracket (Which is just gonna make this ride more interesting for him, HA!!!). And to top it off, Dave is also an excellent photographer. We are lucky to have a man of such diverse musical talents working with us.

Marvin Taylor: Marvin is a fine bass player who was most recently with the Alabama Misfits group. He has knowledge of a wide range of musical styles and fronted groups during a stay in the United Arab Emerits for a time. Marvin is a dedicated player and we are glad he is with us.

Jeff Criss: Jeff has been playing drums since age 14. I know this because I was there (ha). He started out with the band Gold Rush and played for several years in the Stonewall Band, both groups based out of Birmingham Alabama. After relocating to Panama City Beach Florida he worked with several bands, most prominently with David Goldfleas (formerly of Dickey Betts and Great Southern and the Allman Brothers Band). My brother is a stand out drummer and it is a pleasure to be working with him again.

John Criss: I started singing and playing rythem guitar years ago in Birmingham Alabama and played in the Gold Rush Band and in the Stonewall Band with a break in between while I was in the Air Force, during which time I played mostly solo acoustic guitar work and concentrated on writing songs. I droped out of music for several years to concentrate on raising a family and my career in aviation. A couple of years ago I looked around and noticed that Jessica was raised and bought another guitar. I feel fortunate to be able to work with these band mates and we will do our best for you everytime were out there playing.
