Biography Overburden was a 5 peice Nu_metal band from Gautier ms. They were together for almost three years, gigging the mississippi gulf coast for about 2 years. they have played several places including: magic moments, thunder's tavern, kirk's bizzar, Studio 90's "Take 5", the double duce, spiders, danny's and dee's gameroom, the brass monkey, and the longbeach pavillion, just to name a few. The Band's influences range from Slipknot to Greenday to Mudvayne to Metallica, but they as a band make it our number one goal to be as original as possible! The fact that they play metal music, and yet are still as catchy, if not more so than most mainstream bands, is one of the several characteristics that make overburden so great. Overburden includes a vocal synthesiser (Sobolewski) who does unbelievable vocal soundeffects along with a lead vocalist (Jonathan McWhorter) who can scream with the best of the metal vocalists, yet still catch your ear with awsome melodies that sing in your head for days on end! Overburden was also armed with a 18 year old self-taught drum prodigy (Jeremy McWhorter) who started when the band did and the two guitarists(1 bass - Holley, 1 guitar - Stiglet) that will throw out riffs so heavy they will make your ears bleed, yet on the otherhand, strum catchy harmonies that you just can't forget! "We play music because we love it and we love to see people enjoying the music that we put our blood, sweat and tears into! That in its self is what makes being in a band worth all the hard work and dedication!"
