Together Tomorrow

It takes a considerable amount of time and effort to make it as a band in a small music scene. A band has to win over fans, conquered talent buyers at local venues, and strive to succeed at self-promotion. Because of the hard work, many local acts will disappear just as quickly as they hit the local market.

A local band that I feel that has a lot of promise to succeed and go far, is Together Tomorrow. With an album release already underway, Together Tomorrow started on the right track and they continue to improve as to further succeed as a band.

Together Tomorrow only consists of three members; Jesse Duncan on vocals, Masson Holland on drums, and Marcus Trebotich on bass. They have played a few shows in the local area and just recently places second place in a battle of the bands at Club La Villa in Panama City in which their performance will be featured on Panama City’s Got Talent at 9pm Saturday, November 1st.

Together Tomorrow recored a ten song album with well renowned producer, Mark Black . As Quick As You Can, is set to be released sometime this November. Their myspace sites states, “If you find yourself in a musical search for honest lyrics, moving melodies, and energetic live shows, you won’t have to look anymore once you have been turned on to the “power house trio” Together Tomorrow.” This statement pretty much sums them up.

Together Tomorrow just posted up their song, “If You Fail” on their myspace site. Go give it a listen, add them as a friend, and leave them some comments.

Together Tomorrow will be performing this Saturday at Nate’s Sports Bar and Grill in Gulfport will local ska heroes Stereohype. If you don’t have any plans, I’d make some now and check out these two amazing local talents.

  1. These guys are awesome! They have only been together for about 5 months and have only done about 4 shows. Their stage presence and energy levels are unbeleiveable. Jessie Duncan has an amazing voice and produces some unbelieveable lyrics. They have the most orginal sound I have ever heard of any local band on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. These guys are at it all day every day! Mason Holland is a BEAST on the drums and Marcus Trebotich

  2. Crap i dont know what happened but Marcus Trebotich keeps the rythm going with his gut busting bass lines. Anyway these guys are well on their way to making it and they certainly have what it takes to get to that level. Keep up the good work guys.

  3. thanks mark for the amazing review. appreciate you buddy. and yes they are great. the boys work their asses off and i will be there to support them all the way. love you mar. THIS SATURDAY NOVEMBER 8TH THUNDERS TAVERN!! COME ONE COME ALL!

  4. I recently judged a battle of the bands at State Theater in Starkville, MS. Elvis played there. -Just Sayin

Together Tomorrow didn’t place. But not because of my vote. I had three other guys voting with me and I think they were 3 sheets to the wind before the second band finished.

The winner of the battle… not even there to claim their prize and give an encore! The snobs left! (I don’t like to name call but I mean COME ON)
Luckily one member had stayed behind to save face and collect the prize.
    Still Lame.

I believe “Together Tomorrow” went last. It was late and I was yawning but these guys got on the stage and locked me in from begininng to end. When I heard the very unexpected cover of The Pussy Cat Dolls “When I grow up”… that’s when I knew that Together Tomorrow meant business. I was a fan.
These guys know what they are doing.
The ability to cover such a feminine song and maintain a masculinity that, I’m not ashamed to say… Will make a girl ache…

    Together Tomorrow: a desirable addiction.

  5. I just saw “Together Tomorrow” in Hattiesburg MS. They were fucking awesome. I have never heard of them before, but I am glad I did. I cant wait for them to release their cd.
